Kolumittayi is written by two friends, Arun Viswam & Abhijith Ashokanand directed by Arun Viswam who has assisted Abrid Shine in the super hits, 1983 and Action Hero Biju. The film has an ensemble cast consisting of Saiju Kurup, Dinesh Prabhakar, Sohan Seenulal, Dr. Roney, Kalabhavan Prajod, Gokulan, Devi Ajith, Krishnaprabha, Priyanka and 30 highly talented child artists who were selected through an audition conducted in co-operation with Kochu Tv along with the lead cast. DOP – Santhosh Anima, was the second unit cameraman for the Malayalam movies Style, Action Hero Biju, ithihasa. Music is by the new comer Sreeraj Sahajan which is mesmerising and background score is by Ramu Raj, assisted the world renowned Sai Shravanam in “The Life of Pi” and “The Man Who Knew Infinity “. The Choreography is by K P Sreejith who is State award winner for the best choreographer of 2015 and Costumer Steffy Zaviour has worked in ann mariya kalippilanu, guppy, Darvinte Parinamam.
